Look closely and you will see our bear!! We were right on the other side of the trunk on the left hand side of this pic. He actually was fine with us until a flash went off from a camera, not mine! and then came over his log after us and we all ran. Not what we were supposed to do, but this time we were lucky and he was sleepy!

Isn't Glacier Nat'l Park beautiful?! We went to there a couple years back and it was one of our most memorable vacations. We didn't encounter any bears, thank goodness, but we did come across other wildlife. We stayed at St. Mary too, but at the Great Bear Lodge. We hope to go back again some day.
